How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be kept on file for more than 30 days.

Shipping/Return Policy

All deliveries are curbside deliveries. Be prepared to help offload the product from the truck. The individual cartons usually weigh about 35 lbs, but some can weigh well over 100 lbs each. You need to consider accessibility to your street or driveway when choosing the residential delivery option, as orders are typically shipped via full-size semi trucks. In the event that the delivery truck cannot get to your home, your order will need to be transferred to a smaller truck, if one is available (additional fees may apply, these will be paid directly to the carrier). If a smaller truck is not available, you will be asked to pick up the items at the trucking terminal. Residential delivery fees that have been paid cannot be refunded if this occurs.
All your items that are in stock will be processed within two to five business days from the date of order. Please allow 3 to 10 business days for delivery of your order.
After the order is placed you will receive an automated email confirmation of the order. Your order number will be assigned at this time. Please use this order number when referencing your order.
After your payment is processed you will receive another email with the amount that was charged.
You will receive another email with your tracking number and carrier (trucking company) name the day after your shipment has left the warehouse.
If you require the carrier (trucking company) to come to your shipping address at a particular time or date, you need to contact the carrier with the tracking number and make arrangements with the carrier. LowCostFloors.com does not make appointments for the carrier delivery. Any disputes with the trucking company need to be filed with the trucking company.
DO NOT schedule installation until you receive the entire order. LowCostFloors cannot guarantee the exact time and date. Once you obtain the tracking number, you can call the carrier and make the appointments for time and date.
You need to report any damages or order discrepancies within 14 days from the date of receipt. CLAIMS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED AFTER 14 DAYS OF RECEIPT.
Return authorization number has to be obtained within 14 days from the date of receipt. No returns will be accepted after 14 days.
Product availability is based on information supplied by the Manufacturer/Distributor and is subject to change if the Manufacturer/Distributor is unable to meet their estimated delivery dates. We accept all major credit cards,cashier checks and money orders. For Personal Checks please allow 10 extra business days for processing.
  • Check the Product To Be Sure You Have Received the Correct Material and Quantity Ordered.
    • If There Is Product Missing You Must Note The Missing Items On The Delivery Receipt.
  • Inspect The Product For Damage.
    • You Should Look For Such Things As Dents Or Gouges, Rounded Corners, Broken Containers, Etc.
    • Any Product That Is Damaged Must Be Noted On The Delivery Receipt And Signed By Both You And The Person Delivering The Product.
    • If No Damages Are Noted On The Delivery Receipt, CARPETS UNLIMITED Cannot Be Held Responsible For Any Damages Or Shortages That Occur.
If for any reason you need to cancel your order you will need to contact us at 1-800-888-6206 as soon as possible to obtain an authorization number. AUTHORIZATION NUMBERS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED VIA EMAILED REQUESTS. PLEASE CALL ONE OF OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES TO OBTAIN AN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.

There will be a re-stocking fee of 25% on all cancelled orders. If the product has already been shipped you will need to make arrangements to return it to CARPETS UNLIMITED.

You will be responsible for the cost of shipping to and from the scheduled destination. Product must be returned in the same condition that it was received.

All order cancellations must have a return authorization number; all returns without authorization will be refused. Return authorization number has to be obtained within 14 days from the date of receipt. No returns will be accepted after 14 days.

Half of the box or partial products can not be returned. If one piece / plank is damaged in the box, entire box need to be returned.

Warranted products are under the discretion of the manufacturer. We will help resolve any concerns you may have but guidelines set forth by the manufacturer are the tolerances we must follow to resolve such concerns. Manufacturers' warranties do not cover: moisture-related concerns (buckling, cupping and gapping), indents such as scratches from heels, shoes, pets and others; inexperience or customer-related install errors; Color fading and/or darkening is a natural occurrence caused by exposure to UV rays (direct sunlight) and is not considered to be a product defect.

At the time you receive your order, you MUST check for damages and/or missing items, and note that accordingly on the bill of lading. Please have a copy of your invoice ready to verify you received all of the items ordered. If you ordered more than one molding, please open the tube or carton to make sure all of the moldings are present and undamaged before signing. If you do not check the materials yourself, please make certain that the person signing for them checks for damaged or missing items. CARPETS UNLIMITED cannot be held responsible for any damages or shortages that occur due to the fact that the carrier is responsible once the product leaves our distribution center. In the slim chance that you receive a damaged order, please review the following steps:

  1. NEVER refuse a delivery, please call us first at 1.800.888.6206. Refused deliveries incur additional costs and decrease the chances of getting resolution in a timely manner. Refused deliveries are also subject to initial and return shipping costs, plus 20% restocking fee. Any damages from refused deliveries are non-refundable, and because it was refused, would not be noted. We are not responsible for ANY costs associated with a refused delivery.
  2. Compare your order with the materials received. You (or the person you designate) are responsible for noting on the delivery receipt any damaged or missing items. Upon initial receipt, please look for damage on the outside of the cartons or packaging material. If no notation of damages has been made on the delivery receipt, you can still file directly with the carrier.
  3. DO NOT DISCARD any of the damaged material. Once reported, the damaged material is the property of the carrier, by law, and they have 120 days to decide if they wish to inspect, pick up or advise to discard the damaged material. Unless otherwise advised by us, do not throw away or destroy any damaged material received.
